I like everything not called Country or Opera. My first love of music was a love with the guitar. Bands like Rush, Van Halen and Led Zep influenced my tastes alot growing up. I was witness to the birth of Rap/HH in the early 80s and that further grew my love for the "outside the box" sounds and styles. It wasn't until the 90s and into the 2000's that what I consider a perfect blending of Rap, Rock and Electronica really took shape.

I seem to go through phases in my musical tastes but always seem to return to them at some point further down the line. I was heavily into industrial when Skinny Puppy and Ministry where at the forefront. I saw NiN live when they were still opening acts. I grooved to Massive Attack when trip-hop was still considered avante'guard and underground.
I recognized artists like Van Dyke and Fatboy Slim as true artists and not just acts or producers. I'm not much into the newer alternative/guitar acts but my wife and kids are so I support them.
