I am a singer/songwriter, best known for the songs "(I Just Wanna Be) Your Steve McQueen," "Happiness," and "American Splendor," all of which appeared in successful indie films. I like the Beach Boys, Jonathan Richman, Nick Lowe, early Elvis Costello, the Four Seasons, the Monkees, the Rubinoos, 50's rock and roll and rockabilly, sixties pop, seventies new wave, etc. I also like my share of country and soul.
