I was born in connecticut and played in a fantastic creative band called Outside with 5 other gifited musicians. We played the Hartford jazz and music scene for 5 years and had a solid fan base even though we played originals which were free jazz or songs with many time changes and disonent harmonys. Outside was definately the hippest band in the hartford new music scene.
In 1975 I moved to sarasota florida and turned my hobby of photography into a working occupation. I mostly worked for ad agencys for 2 years before the music in my blood called for my reemergence into music. I played with several local bands who played country and blues.
In 1979 I with several other musicians started a band based on the reggae of the times led by bob marley. We became the biggest band on the west coast of florida and remained popular for 10 years. Due to health reasons I was forced to retire back into my jazz roots and now spend my time composing original tunes and also running several jazz music rooms on the internet.
