I've been loving music since before I can remember, Dad was a big Stax/Volt and Motown fan, Mom sung in the choir at church. Later, Philly in the 80's, classic rock on the radio, going to shows at the Chestnut Caberet(RIP), Tower Theater, JC Dobbs(RIP). 90's, still in Philly, not getting out to as many shows, better radio(WXPN, WDRE), many late nights playing tunes and arguing music with good friends(hi Leo and Oona!). Now, country living since '01, giving everything that comes my way a listen. Biggest complaint about where I am now: live music almost invariably means 80's cover bands, although that is getting better.
