I am a musician and I love music that absorbs me. Other than my wife and kids, my passion is making music with other folks with similar spiritual DNA. Yes, I said spiritual. Music is the sweetest means of transport to the presence of God for me. When I've listened to music over the last couple of years, its been mostly instumental stuff. As much disdain as I have for categorization, my favorite artist in the "mostly instrumental" genre would be The Album Leaf. I just really get into the stuff Mr. LaValle has done in the past few years...including his work with Tristeza. My latest favorite band with vocals is probably TV on the Radio...I listen to Dear Science in my vehicle almost every day. MuteMath is another favorite. There is just a power that lies within sound which moves and ignites and stirs like nothing else.
