I'm 60 years old and retired from the healthcare industry. My musical tastes are very eclectic (rock, blues, country, new age, contemporary jazz and classical). My love of music came from my mother and my religious upbringing. Although not particularly adept at any particular instrument and a voice qualified for personal showers only, I spend most of my free time listening to music. The choices I make depend entirely on the mood I'm in at the moment, thus the reason for creating so many stations. Bottom line, to me music is LIFE, and without it there is no joy, no sadness, no celebration. It does much more than just entertain, it speaks to my heart.
