I like New Age with strong production values. I love digeridoo and strange sounds - really latched on to early T-dream, Enigma, Christopher Franke, Deep Forest, etc. Usually my music's gotta have a beat, strong base and haunting in some way. I can take or leave vocals although I am beginning to really like ethereal female or chants. African drones and chants are good too.
As far as vocal groups, Pink Floyd, Alan Parsons Project, Alice Cooper, Isaac Hayes, and even early Neil Diamond. SOME David Arkenstone, Wm. Orbit, Vangelis, and certainly T-Dream can pull off the right mix but any one CD can have a lot of dogs.
Does anyone know a good rhythmical AND musical digeridoo artist? The tune has got to stay in your head. Example of such songs is on an old Yanni (of all people) live disc.
