Pay no attention to my supposed Most-Thumbed-Down; I might dislike individual songs of performers I usually like. At least some of the ones now on Most-Thumbed-Down are favorite performers of mine, and I do not know how to fix the problem.
I wonder: Why is Scots music great out of all proportion to the size of Scotland? Current favorite groups include Oysterband, Barclay-James Harvest, The Connells, Carbon Leaf, Chumbawamba. Later I realized that Carbon Leaf went downhill after 5 Alive! Not all of those are Scottish, but they sound like it.
Pandora has introduced me to artists and songs I otherwise never would have heard. No single music source has been as beneficial to me. Only defect is that Backstage is a nonsource of information.
Are there any concert-going fan clubs in major cities in the United States? There should be, because that way like-minded people might get group discounts to sky-high-priced performances.
