I exist within a world of music. Everything I am and every emotion I want to express can be expressed through music. It is a veritable time machine. The first three bars can instantly carry me to another time, place, another me. I find it matters more what is being said as I get older,and how I interpret everything within the confines of a single song. It is more important to have music than to be comfortable, because you can be comforted by a song. You can feel a surge of emotion that takes you wherever you need to go to connect with mankind on the most basic and primal level. Music was once our way of motivating, keeping in touch with current events and how we dreamed of bigger and better. Same notes, just arranged to reflect someone's desire to write a story.
