About Harvey Angel
Hometown:  Austin, Texas, USA
School:  hard knocks.
Employer:  the Man.

Bio:
Highly varied background. First LP at age nine was ACDC, back in black. I still listen to some of it. Was also facinated by other Metal bands at the time, Moterhead which I think are brilliant, timeless and grotty. Had my first exposure to Punk about then, mainly the Sex Pistols and since still in England at the time Adam Ant was the complete pop punk idol. Not sure what happened to me but by age 13 I had become a typical teenage pop fan, including Wham (yes G. Michael) and all those eighties classics we can occasionally bare in with small circles in private nostagia. Beastie Boys had an incredible impact at about age 14; it's probably the most listened to album i've had even though i have not listened to it seriously since high school. Then I came to USA. Oddly this is where I musically came to age . Punk was it. Very unpopular at the time. Exploited, Circle Jerks, DK, GBH, Minor Threat, Peter and the Test Tube Babies, D.I.... many more.
As a practically homeless living the life of a Punk I decided to reform at age eighteen. Depesche Mode, Pixies and all those nineties popular bands (also Smashing Pumpkins). After that is was nothing but the worst radio hits, i was no longer off the grid in any shape or fashion - pop music cartell decided what I should hear. Radiohead recommend by my brother was the best of the best from nineties, I consider them to this day the genious band and listen to them all the time. Mainly because of moving to Austin in 2003 I became exposed to Indie/Emo. I started collecting, indulging. I no longer listened to mainstream radio. Punk came back for me, i own most of my orginal long lost collection via CD's and MP3. I listen to whatever I want now; Indie, Punk, Rock, Metal, Rap, Jazz. Lovely.
