I am a old school hard rocker. I play drums and a trumpet,coronet. I am torn between true old school jazz and modern jazz. I have explored many areas of jazz, smooth jazz as they say now and currently into the be-bop era.
I am married with a six year ols who insists i play Beatles i my car. He likes the song tax man! In addition to the above I grew up in a cuban family background. I am first generation cuban-american. There were many musicians in my family. Many friends of my family were also musicians. Clearly it was the afro-cuban / salsa sound that I heard often at my home and at others. Especially at parties. Everyone danced. no exception!It was my uncles that involved at that time with new artisis and up coming sounds. This music is what has impacted me the most. It has become the most emotional for me and the most rewarding.
