I love music, it is a constant accompinment to my life, and I love hearing new bands. I am currently obsessed with folk music and metal. I especially love anything with folk or classical sounding female singing over the top of metal. I guess my tastes are heavily goth metal and folk metal leaning, though I do like some good black metal and am getting more and more exposed to that due to my boyfriend's obsession with underground black. I also like some indie bands that are more low-fi or have good lyrics. My current fav bands are Within Temptation, Finntroll, Nickle Creek, Loreena McKennit, Primordial, Turisas, Simon and Garfunkel, Leaves Eyes and Xandria. I also like Evenscence, though I know they are hopelessly uncool :) The only kinds of music I do not like generally are R&B, Hip Hop and Country.
