hi there! so i think i have a really expansive taste in music overall--can appreciate something in/from nearly every genre of music--though my favorite FAVORITE type of music is loosely found in a category i created called '2048,' as in the street address of the house in chicago where i hung out for 2 years, met some incredible people, had some crazy beautiful times, and where my musical world split wide open and my ears fell upon some tunes/beats/melodies/rhythms/s o u n d s that make my heart swell and my blood dance. a lot of down-tempo, sexy, lounge-y, funky songs were always spinning on the turntables...

grew up on classic rock, fell IN LOVE with house music in high school...and have gravitated toward the electronic(a) genre in general by far ever since.

i am ALWAYS looking for new music, so if you have something you just cannot get enough of, i'd love you to share it with me!
