Jazz, Latin & Funk. That's my daily bread and has been throughout my life. By Latin, I mean Afro-Caribbean music. Especially from Puerto Rico, Colombia, Cuba and the DR. I also love World music especially of the African and Indian and Caribbean variety. Unfortunately, Pandora is pretty thin on African music. Send them an email about that!!! To get more African artists!!! Like Salif Keita, Youssou N"Dour, King Sunny Ade, Fela Kuti, Seun Kuti, Habib Koite, and so many more.... Pandora is also very thin on Haitian artists. Haitian music is AWESOME!!! Request T-Vice, Tabou Combo, Djakout Mizik, Carimi and many others who unfortunately can't be found on Pandora...
I also enjoy music with a Spiritual Element, a meditative trance-like or uplifting quality. Jazz in the vein of Coltrane, both John and Alice, Pharoah Sanders, Miles Davis electric, Deep House, Gospel music, Indian mantra chanting, Pakistani Sufi music, Bach cantatas and other European choral music.
