I love music, all of it. There is s**tty music, but every single genre has something good and something bad. I'ms really into alot of roots music, Hawaiian Slack Key, North Mississippi Hill Country Blues, i dig the Chicago post rock scene too, singer songwriters have always been important to me cause thats what i am, i love jazz in many forms other than smooth, i believe kenny g should burn in hell, the "indie" scene is kinda cool, some of the bands in it art good others are over pretentious hipsters, the hip-hop blues as described and played by garret dutton are important to me, i love Xavier Rudd and his mixture of oceanic world music, popular modern rock is all pretty trashy and not very good, but thats the same way with modern rap, as far as that goes, Mos Def, MF Doom, The Roots, Wu Tang Clan, Talib Kwalii, Ghostface, etc. Country has kinda died as far as its style, Ryan Adams is still hanging on to decentcy along with Hank III his dad, willie, the long gone greats of the past, Cash, Waylon, Gram Parsons, Popular music is all fairly lame, but i don't really care, there's too much music out there to care about whats popular. I'm influenced by just about everything i hear and like, the most recent album i bought was Superhero Brother by G.love and Special Sauce, i love it.
