I think I just like real music. You know? Music that sounds, "organic". Like someone sat down one day with a guitar, on a porch, or a couch, or someplace familiar, and wrote something that had been on their mind for a few days. Or something they'd thought of in those first few minutes between being awake and being asleep, but hadn't been able to shake for the rest of the day. Or something that reminded them of someone or something they thought they'd forgotten. That's all. Just real music, real feelings, real thoughts. Is that too much to ask?
