64 yrs. of corduroy road, but it's shown me things some will never see. Like...
most folks aren't aware they're happy.
It's like they're just sitting there waiting for someone to come up behind them and tap them on the shoulder and say "Psst... You the one looking for happiness? Follow me. It's right over here."
They wait, passively, not knowing what they're waiting for, not knowing that to be happy and to be blessed are the same thing. Not knowing that happiness and blessedness are there, with us, within us and without us, even in the most tragic of times.
We elude ourselves.
Though many hold infinity in the palm of their hand, they can't see it. Many struggle to see themselves from the outside,as others see them, yet cannot see inside themselves.
We delude ourselves.
Oh, by the way...
since I'm older than Yoda,I'm not here to hook up. I'm just here for the music, and to hang out with interesting people, young or old, who like some of the most interesting and innovative music (and art and books), and that can take me anywhere.
I'm married and love my wife. And The Force is with her.
