I like stuff from factory in the 80s and late seventies, also the proto industrial stuff like throbbing grisle and cab voltaire... I grew up listening to a weird mix of hardcore. Black metal, Shoe-gaze some old K-records Indy stuff and Brit pop... but I don't really care for Oasis or Blur.
As far as metal goes i like the heavy stuff really slow and really heavy thus the SUNN0))) and I like the fast stuff to be higher tuned thus the soft spot for black metal... cuz if its not about satan what's it really about?
Talking about joy division is way over done so I say A Certain Ratio is equally as sweet.
Britpop Blur was gay and Oasis was boring... one could say pulp was gay but at least they were interesting and actually working class.
Pop the sea and cake wrote that last radiohead record 10 years ago...I'm Pretty sure it was called the Fawn either way they did that sound way before those f**kin dorks in radiohead.
Punk- not popularity point here as I hate the Ramones, The sex pistols and the Clash... They were alternative boy bands like the "Emo" bands going around today... fashion/opportunism masquarding as an anti-establishment movment.
Hardcore.. thats a books worth of s**t.... Fashsion or "Scene" s**t is not hardcore one can't smash the system while wearing $300 jeans with 80's throwback hair and eyeliner... its seriously terrible what happened to something many people used to be passionate about.
I note to pandora please don't play Deathmetal on the same stations as black metal as they are very different genres of metal and in my opinon should be seperated... also please intall a spell check so I may avoid public emberessment for my poor speeling and syntax.
