I'm an old vinyl single - one the A side I'm a jazz fan, more on the smooth (Earl Klugh) and Latin (Brasil - Eliane Elias back through the sixties stuff) side. I'm seeking to discover the meaning of life through the melodies and harmonies of these great musicians. Spoken word (Gil Scott Herron) or unique/haunting vocalists (Willie Bobo, Jon Lucien, Mose Allison) are my cup o' tea but some scattin' over a Benson solo adds just the right amount of sugar if you get what I'm layin' down...

On the B side - I love the musical edge of hip hip but have cooled to the genre over the past three winters. There is nothing better than an east coast sample or bumpin' West Coast Compton or LBC grooves.
