I grew up listening to a mixture of county and rock'n'roll on WKBW-AM in Buffalo, NY. I consider myself the rock'roll junkie that my pin says. Before high school graduation I grew up on Chuck Berry, Elvis, Ricky Nelson, Connie Francis, The Comets, Bobby Darin and Johnny Cash.
During my first or second year of college, the British Invasion came to America, and I loved the new bands from England, especially the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. Then I discovered Bob Dylan and Donovan.
I listen to classic rock and oldies 90% of the time when I have a radio or CD player on.
My all-time favorite album is not, though, from the Fifties and early Sixties. The greatest album that I ever heard is Meatloaf's BAT OUT OF HELL and its two successors.I still play it, especially in my 10-year-old minivan.
