I have loved music all my life-I have 3 older brothers so in my youth I heard a wide! range of stuff. Plus my parents dig music too and are often found humming or they have a radio on in the kitchen a lot of the day. I mainly recall Black Sabbath, Humble Pie, John Denver, CSNY as favorites w/my brothers. And my long time favorites-the Stones! I like all types of music from Bach to Rich Boy.
I like positive or thoughful/sentimental music that tells a story. Bruce Springsteen is a simple example of this. His songs have a mood..and depict reality of life in the US. KEXP.org is an EXCELLENT commercial free radio out of Seattle. KYDS in Sacramento-is a good High School station that plays huge variety.but needs wattage. I dislike ALL 'smooth jazz' and am dying to unplug my neighbor's radio that has been on for a week straight with the smooth jazz station on. WTF is wrong w/them?
