I am happier now than I have ever been. I have made peace with the nature around me. I have come to live happily with the air I breathe, the soil on which I walk, the ocean in which I swim, even the very music which I dance to. I am happy in life. I have come to accept that things are as they are. I have come to realize that I am the sole holder of the key to my emotions. No one can "put" you in a bad mood, you alone are the one who determine how you take a situation. I have learned to (at least try to) take everything in stride. You can not change how it's going to turn out, so you might as well be happy in it.
It's sad but a lot of people don't know the difference between letting go of that which is weighing then down, and pushing people away. I encourage you - everyone who reads this - to look inside you are find what you need. Look to whatever it is that inspires you, be it trees, or music, friends, or people, your god/dess, your lack of a god, whatever. Use it to help you find peace in yourself.
Jimi Hendrix said it pretty good: "When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace."
