Born and raised in San Diego, CA. Grew up being drug around by my teenage parents in the late 60's and 70's. Hence I have developed a passion for music from that era from Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Curtis Mayfield, Mary Wells, Chaka Khan, The Jackson 5 to hippie sounds of Crosby, Stills & Nash, Carol King and America. Grew up in the 80's on soul and R & B, i.e. Roger & Zapp, EWF, Lakeside, Bar-Kays, Midnight Star, Cameo, Michael & Janet Jackson etc., but also lived through the era of groups like Duran Duran, Oingo Boingo, Cyndi Lauper and Madonna.

As I, along with music began to grow and develop I fell in love w/ West Coast Gangsta Rap, particularly Snoop, Ice-Cube, Dr Dre, NWA; and I could never leave out Tupak. I thought I was grown then! LOL!

As my children have grown into teen-agers, they've been raised in this Hip Hop nation. Being in the same household, I've grown to love some of the music and artists, i.e. T Pain, TI, Chris Brown; and learned to absolutely not like other sounds....

I tend to always love that classic sound, artists and music that will always sound good no matter how old or where it's played, i.e. Lauryn Hill, Anthony Hamilton, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Usher, Mary J, Joe, Jaheim and always back to my roots of old school. I love to sing so I like music I can sing (Mary J, Joe, Jaheim, Keith Sweat). I also love to dance so anything that has that beat that makes you bob your head, say "Heeeeyyyy," or throw your hand in the air on instinct! LOL!

Music is such a huge part of who I am. It tells my story through different times of my life, people, relationships, kids, pain, happiness, hard times, good times, good friends, etc. Thanks for letting me tell my musical history.
