I am an older man beginning to write songs about historic personalities and events. I thump on an acoustic guitar and last fall gave my first public "performance" at a local Covered Bridge Festival. I like to listen Ian and Sylvia, Ian Tyson, Kris Kristofferson, Tom Paxton, Pete Seeger and Rambling Jack Eliot. I like landscape imagery songs and have recently begun to listen to R.W. Hampton.
