I grew up in the 80's. Big hair, big makeup, etc.! I loved the innovative artists of the time, and I still love the innovators today. I really appreciate artists who can create a mood with music and who write poetic lyrics. I find that much of what's popular isn't my style; I tend toward "alternative" music, although I do like some classic stuff.
