Les Blachut www.lesblachut.com Multi-instrumentalist specializing in keyboard-based mallet percussion such as: vibraphone, xylophone, marimba, steel pans, steel drums, mallet-kat midi controller, etc. Born in Poland. Moved to America in 1989. Studied vibraphone with Gary Burton and Ed Saindon, music education with Wayne Ward. Graduated with honors from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Currently living in Florida. Actively involved in live music performance, recording and production. Latest release Catholic Hymnbook Jumstarted available on many digital distribution outlets (such as iTunes, etc.) Hopefully it will soon be available on this station as well.
