Bio:
Hello! I'm Amanda, the artist from Pandacracy.com. I grew up in New England but moved to North Carolina when I met my husband. I've been on Pandora for a long time, and it is definitely my favorite website ever, in fact, it is the homepage for my browser. I love music, and I am especially tickled when I find something new. My band is called disproportionately awesome, but we don't have many songs recorded nevermind have a polished album. (We do have one song on myspace, tsk. www.myspace.com/disproportiona t e l y a w e s o m e should bring it up.) I am working on a new project which will mostly be me, one that is actually serious, hee. We have begun practicing two songs and will probably start performing at local open mics soon. As you can imagine, between those two things and how much time I spend here... music is a big part of my life! I began playing trumpet and singing in fourth grade, and now, at twenty two, I also play trombone, baritone, mandolin, bass guitar, and numerous percussive instruments. I'm very happy to be part of a musical community.
I'm on Pandora all day every day. I draw my comic to Sertab and Ruslana. I party to Cobra Starship. I clean my kitchen with Hendrix in the background. I sing along to Nightwish, Within Temptation, and Epica. I relax to Loreena McKennit and vent to Plumb. I play bass along to Clapton and his buddies. On any given day I will bounce between several different genres. I just love music!
