I tend to gravitate towards very pensive rock and ballads, full of thoughtful lyrics, but with fun riffs/hooks/etc on guitar and bass (like Coldplay and Snow Patrol). I LOVE modern dance rock (The Bravery, Rock Kills Kid), but also find myself increasingly enjoying the indie folk rock scene (The Decemberists, Death Cab For Cutie).

Jimmy Eat World is the greatest band of all time.
