I decided, so that my other profile doesn't overflow, to create a new one for all my techno/ambient/hiphop/indie pop music. but then I decided to expand on that Idea. So all the wild crazy stuff is on this one, all the watered down nu metal s**t is on the other. With the exception of my favorites which exist on both profiles, like some sort of magical barrier...........

The two punk bands that could play are The Clash, and Black Flag. Minutemen are post-punk and they can play too. I've also been checking out Industrial and might try some techno. Could you recommend some bands/units for me?

It's not that I can't hear bass, but the punks (especially the original ones) couldn't play more than three chords, which isn't that bad, but they didn't practice. I play acoustic guitar, bass, and the trumpet. I'd like to pick something up that's older, as well.

I've also recently started exploring Mathcore, like Dillinger Escape Plan, The Number 12 Looks Like You, Fear Before the March of Flame, and will be checking out more bands like Isis and Neurosis next.

Oh yeah, both of them. I like The Melvins. I personally like Whitechapel and Suicide Silence. Those are prob'ly the only two deathcore bands I like. You know, I think there's a lot of System of a Down influence in the deathcore scene. I was just listening to their Second Album, Toxicity, and it's pretty much Hardcore Punk mixed w/Death Metal with some out-of-the-b l u e stuff in there too.
