I've heard the words "Spacy" thrown at my music a lot. Basically I am after melody rather than lyrics. Beats are nice, and unexpected twists within the melody pattern are appealing to me. I tune into instrumentals and vocals rather than listening to what is actually being spoken, so when Mars Volta sings about Viscera eyes, I'm not repelled like others are.
