Hey everyone. What can I say? Music is such a huge part of my life. I go a little stir-crazy if I don't get my fix of it several times a day. From singing in the car, using Pandora when I'm writing, to listening to my iPod between classes....music is a pretty constant thing for me. I've been called a musical encyclopedia by those around me, and while that sounds nutty, it's pretty much true. I've always had sleeping issues - runs in the family. So while normal people are asleep in their (or not their) beds, I'm usually discovering new music and honing what I like and don't like. C'est la vie.
Most people listen to music for the overall sound of what they're listening to, without major concern over what the lyrics say. While this is fine, I tend to go a completely different direction. To me, the lyrics are paramount, and the sound should serve the purpose of accentuating what the words are already trying to say. But hey, that's just me :).
My tastes literally span across every genre imaginable. There are very few genres that have no redeemable qualities for me. However, there are ones I enjoy more than others, such as rock, alternative, acoustic guitar, some country, some pop...etc. Basically anything but most gospel/rap/techno is cool with me.
