Looking to put together a Prog Power Metal project. I've been playing Double bass drums for a long time. A little deaf from many years of 'almost famous' gigging and touring- but I got a nice studio in SF, fully equiped except with recording equipment. If you are serious about creating a prog-power metal band; an EPIC Project-please lemme know. Have Shredder killer guitarist, and vocals now. Need keys and bass.

SERMON #1

In this pop and hiphop culture, Prog and Metal Music has been squashed down and only a few token prog and metal bands are chosen for shelf space...I believe that is why the music market is in the toilet. Authentic people don't want to pay a lot of money for the crappy mainstream swill - that traditional 'radio' spoonfeeds them. 99.99 percent 'Radio' bands suck! So many REALLY GOOD bands, NO ONE has ever heard them !! This is a damn shame! Support Prog and Metal Music! Support Prog / Metal Bands and Merchants! Support Live Music ! Support Pandora ! Give people a real choice.

Please support Metal Music. People that appreciate it are often labeled as devil worshipers, or worse. To appreciate Metal in all it's genres is a valliant undertaking. I am convinced it is the Music Beethoven, Bach, and Vivaldi would be listening to today. Why? Because it has NEO-CLASSICAL elements that are musically profoundly challenging to play as well as to compose. For example, listen to Dream Theatre or Symphony X, their pieces are as complicated and as brilliant as a Beethoven Symphony. This is heavy, thoughtful music- not bubble-gum bullshit.
