I'm a recent graduate looking for a way to break into opera, but art music (I like that better than "classical") is something I've only gotten really into in college; my original background is in rock. My taste has since expanded to include most everything, with the notable exceptions of country and jazz, but I'm trying to find more I like in both. Aside from the classical, I mostly switch between what I guess is folk, synth pop, and industrial music, plus basically anything Danger Mouse has his fingers in.
