Right now I'm listening to a lot of music from the 60s and 70s or artists that are heavily influenced by that era. I'm a sucker for classical influences, sweet harmonies, simply vocals, and concept albums make my knees go weak. I'm a classic rock geek and damn proud of it.
Some of my favorite artists include James Taylor, Queen, Bowie, Al Green, Steve Miller Band, Jethro Tull, The Who, the Allman Brothers Band, Fleetwood Mac, Jackson Browne, The Band, Bread...actually it might be easier to say which of the classic rock artists I generally don't listen to (springsteen, lou reed, paul simon, billy joel, john lennon, elton john -- not that they don't have good songs)
even though I generally hate hippies, I love folk rock.
For more modern stuff, I like happy, danceable music like Justice, electric six, junior senior, chromeo, the gorillaz, anything by timbaland & co, etc. I also dig classical music.
