Grew up appreciating whatever my older brother listened to, love so much now - Van Morrison's probably my favorite. Anything that gets my soul. Favorite albums are still The Last Waltz & Born to Run. Love Clarence Clemons on sax, Alison Krauss' mandolin, Danny Federici's piano, Eric Clapton & Mark Knopfler on guitar. The Cuban jams of Ruben Gonzalez & Ibrahim Ferrer are fantastic, and anything Aretha Franklin, Annie Lennox, Norah Jones, or Etta James sings. Shake Russell & Alejandro Escovedo are my favorite Texas musicians, and Warren Zevon and Nick Drake were one of a kind.
