i like to listen to sad sack music till every note and beat seeps through my tortured soul and out the pours of my skin. Some time after this i may lighten up with The New Pornographers or some other great power pop. i like songs with carefully calculated transitions and tempo changes. i'm the guy who changes the music at YOUR party. i've taken a recent interest in contemporary folk music like Fleet Foxes, Blitzen Trapper, Band of Horses, The Snake the Cross the Crown and M.Ward. Billy Corgan taught me how to hate myself and then love myself to megalomaniac proportions all within the same song, and for this i'm happy. Every human relationship i have comes together and falls apart to the soundtrack of the great music in my life.
