1.5 Good hip hop producer work...J Dilla, Pete Rock, Premier
1.7 There are some cool new hip hop styles rollin out, Cool Kids, Lupe, etc., and they're making pretty good music...
2.I went through a trance/house stage and I still respect that art form...(digweed, underworld)
3. Blues on the John Lee Hooker tip
4. Jazz/Soul- Nina Simone to Stax Records to Withers
5. Actually got into some Tango music recently, electronic styles with Otros Aires and Gotan Project are cool, classics are pretty good as well
6. Throw in some classic rock to new wave from parental influences...Allmans and Stones to Talking Heads and Pet Shop...
7. Prince
