quoted in Martin Marty, Martin Luther, 2004, p. 114.
By using Pandora this year I have improved my listening skills, understanding of song structure, and knowledge of music influences. Thank you Music Genome Project!!!
I also can now articulate that I tend to prefer music that crosses rock genres with electronicA genres in new, interesting, and different ways. My current favorite QuickMix is:
- electronicA rock
- basic e disco
- mellow electronicA
FYI: I spend a lot of time listening to Pandora and therefore have spent a good amount of time creating my stations; of which I am proud. Feel free to check out what I consider to be far superior to the Pandora provided 'Genre Stations' and give a listen for yourself. My method for creating stations is briefly described in each station description. Also check out what Tim (Founder of Pandora) commented about my method!!
PS: Pay no attention to my bookmarked songs and artists. They are by no means indicative of my favorites. They just had some element that I had not heard before or was surprised to find.
