4-16-09 Time for some off the wall and cheesy poetry:
True love is not
what you are
while I sit on the moon
fishing for stars. . .
Or. . .
Your animus lingers
like the coldness of deep snow;
ignoring Spring you won't let me
let you go.
Yet of this
you know nothing
except perhaps the past rememberences
of who you thought I was.
So then
where is my ghost in your thoughts?
Is my animus captured unwillingly
in your mind
as yours is in mine?
. . .this one's for you, Mardis.

Art is not a noun. That is the mistaking assumption of both viewer and artist. To try and render creativity static is to deny the motion of art; art is a verb, a cooperation between creativity and artist, and all things must be considered transient. Otherwise art ceases to exist.
