I started listening to country music in high school after hearing the songs Holy Water by Big & Rich and Any Man Of Mine by Shania Twain. I loved both songs so much I went out and bought the albums. The rest, as they say, is history!

I'm a huge fan of country music from the 90's. For me, songs of that era just had a certain inimitable sound about them. Something that I've looked for in today's country music, but unfortunately and unsurprisingly, haven't found. It's a shame what today's 'country' radio stations have become.

How about some more about me? I'm currently a sophomore in college. Eventually I hope to attend Trinity Christian College where I'll take up a Graphic Arts major and pursue my passions for writing short stories and design!

Hence my screen name, I enjoy writing short stories. I've been writing since middle school. I like to center my stories around haunted houses, the Great Plains and historic houses. I have an almost unnatural love for historic houses. I write about them, draw them and visit a site called oldhouses.com. If you love old houses I'd seriously recommend you check it out! My favorite historic house styles are: Victorian, Dutch Colonial, Colonial, Greek Revival and Antebellum. I love old houses so much I watch the Shorewest Realty channel on TV...and I'm proud of it!

As for my other passions, I enjoy: Reading mystery novels by my favorite author, Wendy Corsi Staub. Riding my bike and updating my blog: i-luv-to-write.blogspot.com. Check it out! I'm always looking for comments and feedback. I've always been a freehanded writer. Whatever comes to me at the moment I write down.
