I am a poet and a music lover. My favorite bands at the moment (which will probably change within the next 10 days lol) are The Kooks, Pink Floyd (they're pretty much a constant), Jason Mraz, The Fratellis, and Gogol Bordello. I was raised on two separate genres of music: Classic rock from my family and punk rock from my friends, so my music tastes have come out quite odd. My favorite genres are indie-rock, ska punk, folk rock, and rock-hop or hip-rock or whatever you call the mix of hip-hop and rock lol. I don't descriminate against any styles of music and give everything a chance. My number one favorite artist (and person for that matter) of all time is John Lennon, and I try to model my lifestyle after his. I am also a huge fan of Jack White (of the White Stripes), Billy Corgan (of Smashing Pumpkins), and Bob Marley as far as my musical role models go.
