Music is one of the things I could not live without, like air or water - for the soul. I love music that makes me feel good, or has lyrics that make me laugh, or just strikes a chord of familiarity with who I am. I rarely listen to anything angry or mean-spirited, unless it's ironic or I'm very upset about something. Rebelling for rebellion's sake ain't my thang - being myself without worrying about what others think is. Some of my favorite artists are undisputed geniuses, and some aren't - but most aren't standard Top-Forty fare. I mostly don't run with the crowd because it ain't my style, not to just be contrary.
