I probabley have one of the strangest stories about a persons cultural makeup. I was adopted from Ecuador by Scotish Jewish folks. ythen later on moved to Cali where i now make my home. I :ove hip hop mostly because some of the beats can be traced back to the roots of black soul music, Jazz and all other forms music. Hip hop has more than just words and beats. The DJ is the composer and the MC is the poet. MOst of what is heard on the radio and on tv is f**kin garbage. Hip hop is not the only genre of music that i dig. everything from Led Zepplin to the Eisley brothers flow through my head on the daily. I guess if a person can feel comfortable about putting their music on in front of any random person and feel that the stranger can find some thing in the song that they like. Then that person really has a grasp on what they are listening to and differ between good music and bad music.Even if that person musical preferance may be Hiphop, they can tel the differencs between a good rock song and a bad one.
