I've been a smooth jazz fan for quite some time now. Actually, it was back in 1985 when I was still living in the town I was born and raised in, Chicago!! My brother told me about this cool station(WNUA 95.5) that played nothing but smooth jazz all day! "It is the best music to listen to on your way home from work as you're driving along on the expressway!", he said. "It really helps you to relax and wind down." Actually, I thought it was some of the best music ever!! He told me how it helped him unwind after a long, hard day at work. I've been listening to it ever since! You can listen to it all day without losing your mind! I like various types of music, but this I can listen to all day!! I really like going to the concerts to watch my favorite artists perform live, too. The choices that are available on Pandora are amazing! You can create any type of station you want!! You are the DJ and you listen only to the music and/or artists that you want!
Which makes this a hell of a lot cooler than that crap you might find on Yahoo or MSN radio. They have great e-mail but, their radio blows, big time!! Just listen to Pandora after you've selected a few artists and just sit back and enjoy! It's too cool!! Besides, selecting an artist will bring up not only songs by that artist, but songs by other artists that have similar styles and other songs that also fall into that category, style, sound, whatever!! You can tailor the station to play what you really like and want to listen to! Plus, there are no commercials!! Just music!! And it's the music that you've chosen, so you just have to sit back and listen!
Trust me on this one, you will not be disappointed!
