I'm a 46 y/o FtM (TransMan). I am married to a wonderful woman who loves me. We have some of the same musical tastes. I am also a wannabe musician. I can sing but have little patience for teaching myself any instrument other than my voice. My style is very eclectic. I love just about every style of music. I tend to have a preference for the blues (Delta and Chicago)and Electronic music (I like Moby because he looks at music very spiritually).
Sometimes I can be a bit of a purist. I just like to see where the style originated from.
In my opinion music can take you to other worlds and dimensions. It can be healing and alter perceptions. It can be spiritual and motivational.
To me, music is the emotional blood of the heart.
