I'm a baby boomer and I love many different types of music. I'm not new to Pandora and (still) frequently add new stations.
Mostly I look for a good melody & chord progressions, emotional expression and rhythms that grab me - whether it's folk, new age, rock & roll, jazz, classical or anything else that moves me.
I sometimes don't like music that is too percussive and metallic (clanky & clunky), but occasionally I need more cowbell.
Kudos to Pandora for playing the old songs and the new.
Sometimes I need a taste of the cheesy (not in a bad way) with Esteban.
Thanks to Pandora I'm getting into performers from the 80's and later on U2 Radio. Also I'm just now learning about artists who have passed like folksingers Kate Wolf and Sandy Denny.
Ultimately I'm interested in what music points to - that which is beyond words...
