Contemporary Christian music opened my eyes in 1978. It said to me that God had something special to draw all men unto himself. It was new when i came to the Lord some thirty years ago, with folks like Randy Stonehill, SpiritWind, Larry Norman, Phil Keaggy, just a few to kick it off, Chalice, Resurrection Band & many more incredible warriors of song, breaking barriers into a new sound that would cultivate and empower many a Christian's heart before God. I wish only to know where some have gone. We opened our home to many who came to our fellowships coffee house, it was amazing and drew my daughter into the realm of knowing worship & the freedom that Jesus only can give. I'll never regret giving my time, honor, and servanthood to these. I am a much better person for seeing "the real" in their lives, and the things people would judge with their natural eye. But who of us can throw the first stone, if we really look at what our hearts & actions are doing. The struggles of being on the road for these "pilgrims of hope" dug deep a trail bringing a new generation to come to Jesus, the Master Creator of Purpose and Renewal. I heard Gabriel out of California with Bryan Stewart, in our little coffee house, and said, "IF God has something like this, I want to be a part of it." And I have never turned back since. YEah, i've made many a mistake, but resolved it before my father daily. For HE who began a good work in me is faithful to complete it. He challenges me daily! Becasue of these warriors' ministry I live in Christ today, cause Jesus met me that night with Truth, and the Power of His resurrection. I believe we were at the tail end of the outpouring that was going on at that time. A lost little girl inside, learned Truth has power to heal, and the memories will stay with me to share with my grandkids & the generations as God opens doors for my mouth to open to them.
