I'm one of those people who, when asked, can never come up with a "favorite". I love music, and I could not imagine a day without it, but I don't have favorite genres, or artists. I love music that is either innovative or classic, old or new, from classical, to rock, to folk, to the blues, to punk, to ad infinitum. Any decade, any century (medieval music can be so hauntingly beautiful).

For me, music merely has to be a GOOD rendering of what it is meant to be - no false notes. nothing quickly cobbled together in a sing-song grab at at a quck buck, no off renditions of other's work - although good covers and variations are always fine. In other words, genuinely good music in any genre or time works for me!
