I love music!
I enjoy many genres and love discovering new artists.
I find myself rooted in jazz and heavy into Hip Hop and rap. My Jazz influences are Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard, Dave Brubeck, John Coltrane, Herbbie Hancock, Chuck Mangione, Duke Ellington, Oscar Peterson, Grover Washington Jr., Woody Herman (sixties mostly), Pat Metheny, Thelonious Monk. Not to mention Marvin Gaye, Ottis Redding, Al Green, Isac Hayes.
Some of my Hip Hop favorites right now include.....LMNO, Blu and Exile, Nugabes, Rashaan, The Procussions, Oddisee, Wale. Kev Brown....Old School...... De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, People Under the Stairs, Slum Village, Pete Rock, Gang Starr, early Eminem, MC Lyte, Notorious B.I.G., Wu Tang Clan (GZA RZA ODB METH MAN RAKWN MASTA KLA GHSTFACE KLA UGOD INSPECTAH DCK), NAS, Jay Z, MF DOOM, 2Pac, Dre, Rakim, NWA, KRS1.
As I said above I enjoy all types, besides Hip Hop I am also currently listening to alot of Alternative as well. Some of my Favs right now include... Silversun Pickups, MUSE, Carolina Liar, Chevelle, 3Oh!3, Killers, Snow Patrol, Gym Class Heroes. Some of my all time favs include...Red Hot Chillie Peppers, Weezer, Rage Against the Machine, 311, Sublime, Smiths, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Mother Love Bone, STP, Incubus, Radiohead, Coldplay, Dave Matthews Band.
As you can see from my radio stations I also enjoy heavier rock.
