I'm a sixteen year old girl who is just living life. I’m one of those people who don’t know what their day is going to be like until I wake up. I’ve been through hell of a lot of anguish. I love music. I listen to music for several reasons but I guess the main reason is because it’s an escape; a place of tranquility. I can disconnect myself from all emotion and embrace every sound and sensation that the music brings. When I listen to music I feel so numb, so free...like I'm falling but will never hit the ground. Music is a way of letting go for me. I struggle with almost everything but I am able to endure knowing that God is there by my side; waiting to break my fall. I love Writing. I am currently working on several projects off and on. My poetry, however, is an incessant process. I write what ever pops into my head at 3am in the morning. But more than that I write what I feel. I’m hardly ever open about my current emotions with people. Notice I said current. I'm the type of person who will just sit there and listen. Sometimes that is all we need; someone to care.

Azure
I stare up into the deep blue sky
How can something so big feel so empty?
My muscles relax
I wonder how far the blue goes
I cannot see the end, nor beginning
Just pure color
Clean, wholesome, unpolluted
Reveling in its purity
I lose myself in wonder
It could swallow me whole but I don’t care
Its simplicity replenishes my thoughts
As I let the winds carry away my troubles
Into the deep blue sea full of more than just water and oxygen.
